OLD LADY IN THE CITY

August 19th - woke up early in the morning, even though it was a public holiday(i've become really accustomed to rising up early since i was a kid. The only time i can really sleep for hours on end is after i've had a little too much to drink!) So i'm on the comp, checking my mail, and i see an invite for a photography thingy happening at Joggers Park, Bandra in one hours time. So i quickly message all my photography interested pals about it, hoping that someone would hopefully be awake. Then I quickly grabbed my camera and headed to the spot. I felt a little out of place because each and everyone there had these huge professional cameras, and i was present there with my tiny little digi-cam. But it didn't affect me much, because i loved my cammy a lot, and i knew that it was capable of taking amazing pictures . After three hours of listening to professionals and taking pictures of nature in the blazing sunshine around Joggers Park it was time to head home. I was really pressed for time because i had a project submission to get home to, so i decided to take a rickshaw home. On my way home i spotted a beautiful old lady on the road, and since i had my camera with me, i decided to get off there and go clicking pictures of the old lady. So i began taking pictures of her as she stood there, calm and untroubled. I had unearthed a beauty, that usually grabs no attention whatsoever from the passing public. But now they surrounded her, making comments on her age, and how attractive she was and how beautiful her figure was after many tedious years. As i photographed her, i saw another beauty resting inside a dark shady place. She was younger than the old lady, but not very young. "Today is my lucky day", I told myself. And i began taking pictures of her as well, plenty of close ups of the front as well as the rear. And then i went home, all excited to view my photographs.
